Raymond C. Groth
Mr. Groth is currently an Adjunct Professor
of Business at the Fuqua School of Business and a Visiting
Scholar at the Global Capital Markets Center, Duke University,
Durham, North Carolina. He also sits on the board of directors
of a public corporation (and is a member of its audit committee)
and serves on the boards of various non-profit organizations.
Mr. Groth previously served as head of the Merger and Acquisition
Group of First Union Securities, Inc. in Charlotte, North
Carolina. Prior to that position, he was a managing director
in the Merger and Acquisition Group of The First Boston Corporation
(now Credit Suisse First Boston) in New York, New York, for
14 years. Mr. Groth joined First Boston after practicing law
with Cravath, Swaine & Moore in New York for seven years.
He has his undergraduate degree in accounting with Honors
from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and his law degree
from Yale University Law School, New Haven, Connecticut.
